As a Cutting Specialist in the garment manufacturing industry, your primary responsibilities include:

  2. Creating and Managing markers
  3. Understand how to add markers to production orders. 
  4. Creating and managing Cutting orders.
  5. Creating and managing batches.

Getting Started with the Platform

  6. Learn the consequences of making changes to styles, especially when there are active orders, to avoid disruptions. 

Set Up Initial Data

Add new sizes, fabric types, and colors to accommodate new styles or customer requests. This initial setup is crucial for flexibility and responsiveness in production planning.

Operational Tasks

  1. Everyday before the workers in the factory start operating, the cutting specialist in the factory should ensure that markers have been added to production orders.
  2. Ensure that the cutting orders have been added 
  3. Ensure that he created all the batches in each cutting order
  4. Add and update fabric types 
  5. Add new cutting orders into the system that will operate for at least following month with all their details and set the long term plan  for the order.  
  6. Update the medium term plan of the order inside the Gantt chart according to the decisions made.
