Create bulk batches

Create bulk batches

To create bulk batches automatically, you can follow any of the following methods:

  1. Select "Confirm and Add Batches" during the cutting order addition phase.
  2. From the Cutting Orders page, right-click on the cutting order for which you want to create bulk batches.

Once you select "Add Batches Automatically," you need to follow these steps:

  1. Choose the assembly rules (different conditions for assembling the cut pieces from the cutting order into batches):
    • By Roll: Pieces of the same color, size, and cut from the same roll are assembled into one batch (no pieces from different rolls can be in the same batch).
    • By Shade: Pieces of the same color, size, and shade are assembled into one batch (no pieces from different shades can be in the same batch).
    • By Quantity: The traditional quantity and maximum quantity per batch.
      • Traditional Quantity: The desired quantity per batch.
      • Maximum Quantity: The maximum number of pieces per batch.
Example: Traditional Quantity = 20 pieces and Maximum Quantity = 25 pieces, and the number of pieces in the cutting order is 124 pieces. It will result in 5 batches of 20 pieces each and one batch with 24 pieces (if the cutting order is 126 pieces, it will result in 6 batches of 20 pieces each and one batch with 6 pieces).
  1. Enter the numbering rules (for more information about numbering rules).
  2. Click "Confirm" to display the batches that will be produced based on the entered assembly rules.

You can save the batches and add them to the Production Order Batches page by clicking the "Create Batches" button. Alternatively, you can click "Print and Create batches" to open a page for printing batch cards in a separate window and also add the batches to the Production Order batches page.

The user is presented with two options:

  • Go back to the Cutting Orders page to add a new cutting order.
  • Go to the Production Order batches page to select cards for editing the added batches.

The number of pieces in the batches cannot exceed the number of pieces produced for each color and size. To add batches manually, follow these steps:

(There must be a cutting order added to the production order, and there must be pieces that are not yet added to batches.)

  1. Select the cutting order for which you want to add batches to.
  2. Choose the roll from which the batch is cut (the color, shade, and shrinkage level are automatically added based on the selected roll).
  3. Select the size of the batch you want to add (marker sizes from the cutting order are displayed).
  4. Enter the number of pieces in the batch (there must be more or the same number of pieces of the selected size and color that are not yet added to the batches for this production order).
  5. Enter the starting number for numbering the pieces in the batch.
