Connect style zones to production operations and quality inspection.
Quality checks used to happen without a clear record of which part of the garment each defect came from. Now you define your style zones once and the system links them to quality inspection automatically.
The Zones feature lets you divide a model into parts, collar, shoulder, sleeve, side, front body, link each zone to the operations that produce it, then map each zone's position on the model image inside the quality tablet. The inspector opens the image, selects the zone where the defect was found, and logs it directly.

How does the setup work?
Setup happens in two stages:
- Model categories first — Add the model zones, then the category operations, then link each operation to its zone. Order matters: zones before operations before linking.
- The model second — When creating a new model, the zones section will already be populated from the model category. Map each zone to its position on the model image and press Next — operations are linked automatically. Any unlinked operations will be flagged for manual assignment.
- Custom zone — If a specific model needs a zone that does not exist in its category, you can add it for that model only using the "Add custom zone" field during model creation.
- Generate AI Sketch: This feature should be used to create front and back images of the style, which will be used in the Quality Zones feature. After generation, you can use these images directly in zones or replace them with front and back images uploaded from your device.
Assign Zones to Style ProcessesNote:
You can add zones to a Style Category whether it is newly created or already existing. For styles created before the Zones feature was introduced, you can use Custom Zones from the Styles page.
New styles created after introducing this feature will automatically inherit the zones configured in the Style Category, if available.
On the quality tablet
Once setup is complete, the quality inspector sees the model image with all zones marked on it. They select the zone where the defect was found and log it directly — no guesswork, no ambiguity about where the problem came from. (Soon).
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do zones need to be created in the model category before the model itself?
Yes, setup always starts in the model category first, then is completed when creating the model. - What if I need a zone that is not in the model category?
You can add a custom zone specific to that model using the "Add custom zone" field during model creation. - Do existing models automatically get the Zones feature?
No, existing models need zones added manually using the custom zone field inside the model. - How do zones appear on the quality tablet?
The model image is displayed with all zones marked on it. The inspector selects the zone where the defect was found and logs it directly.
