Activate the cutting module
To activate the cutting module in the system, follow these steps in the factory settings:
- Go to Settings > Company Settings > Factory > Edit Factory.
- Click on "Enable Cutting."
Here are the additional settings to configure:
- Minimum Top Length in Meters: Enter the minimum length for a top. If the length falls below this value, the system will record it as a used top that cannot be reused.
- Allowance Unit for Markers: Specify the unit of measurement for marker allowances in the system.
The cutting application now includes the option to define different fabric types for various models. You can assign a fabric type to each model, and when adding a new top to the system, you can specify its fabric type.
Activating the cutting module enables you to streamline the cutting process, improve accuracy, and manage fabric types more efficiently within the system.
Before activating the cutting module, it is recommended to contact a Garment IO representative or employee to ensure proper setup and configuration of the module. They can provide guidance and assistance in activating the cutting module based on your specific requirements and workflow. Their expertise will help ensure a smooth transition and effective utilization of the cutting module in your manufacturing process.
