Fabric Types Management

Fabric Types Management

To add fabric types, follow these steps through the Cutting module settings:

  1. Enable the permission to "Add" fabric types for the users who are allowed to add fabric types. This can be done through the Permissions page.
  2. Click on "Cutting Department" from the sidebar menu.
  3. Select "Fabric Types."
  4. To add a new fabric type, click on the "+" button.

  1. Enter the fabric type code (must be unique).
  2. Enter the fabric type name (duplicate names are not allowed).
  3. The system will not allow adding a fabric type that has been removed. If needed, it can be restored to the used fabric types. Unused fabric types can be removed or restored:
    • Enable the permission to "Delete" fabric types for the users who are allowed to delete fabric types.
    • Go to the Fabric Types page.
    • Click on the remove icon in the settings column (removed fabric types are listed in the removed fabric types page).
    • To restore a removed fabric type, click on the recycle bin icon next to the "+" button in the removed fabric types page.
  4. Search for a specific fabric type by code or name.
  5. Click on the edit icon in the settings column of the used fabric types list to modify a specific fabric type. Enable the permission to "Edit" fabric types for the users who are allowed to modify fabric types.
  6. Now, the added fabric types can be assigned to styles:

    1. Go to the desired style (Engineering > Styles > Edit the desired style).
    2. Click on the fabric types options button below the size options.
    3. Now, you can filter styles in cutting orders by fabric type to match the fabric type of the top.

Ensure that the appropriate permissions are assigned to users for adding, deleting, and editing fabric types through the Permissions page.
