To add fabric types, follow these steps:

• Enable the "Add" permission for fabric types for the users allowed to add them, through the permissions page.
• Click "Cutting Department" from the side menu, then select "Fabric Types."
• To add a new fabric type, click the "+" button.

When adding a fabric type, you'll need to provide a few specific details:

• Enter the fabric type code, which must be unique.
• Enter the fabric type name; duplicate names aren't allowed.

Deleting and Restoring Fabric Types

The system doesn't allow adding a fabric type that was previously removed. If needed, it can be restored back to the list of used fabric types. Unused fabric types can be removed or restored as follows:

• Enable the "Delete" permission for fabric types for the users allowed to delete them.
• Go to the fabric Types page.
• Click the removal icon in the settings column. Removed fabric types are listed on the Removed fabric Types page.
• To restore a removed fabric type, click the trash icon next to the "+" button on the Removed fabric Types page.

Assigning Fabric Types to Models

Once fabric types have been added, they can be assigned to models by following these steps:

• Go to the desired model, from Engineering Management, then Models, then edit the desired model.
• Click the fabric type options button below the size options.
• You can now filter the model's order pieces by fabric type, matching the fabric type selected at the top.
