Main Concepts

To efficiently use our platform, you must understand several key concepts:
  1. Learn the different statuses that batches and orders can have, which indicate their progress through the production process.
  2. Understand the various types of control units or stations within the factory and their functions.

Set Up Initial Data

  1. Add and configure control units or stations within the factory to manage quality checks effectively. Ensure each station is configured with the correct parameters to handle specific inspection tasks.
  2. Define and manage different quality grades to categorize the quality of inspected pieces.
  3. Add and manage common defects to track issues during inspections.

Operational Tasks

  1. Conduct inspections on batches to identify defects, and use the platform to mark any defects found during inspections for tracking and reporting.
  2. Identify pieces that require repairs, send them for fixing, and track the status of pieces sent for repair, taking necessary actions once they are returned.
  3. During inspections, identify and mark pieces that are deemed scrap.
  4. If some pieces in a batch are under repair, split the batch to allow the rest of the pieces to continue through the production flow without delay.

Monitoring Tasks

Hourly Monitoring:

  1. Check the number of pieces ready for inspection, details of repair pieces, and the number of pieces already inspected.
  2. Monitor the hourly throughput of the station to know the number of pieces inspected by each line in station throughout report.
  3. Review quality information grouped by order to ensure client quality standards are being met in aggregated quality report.

Daily Monitoring:

  1. Check the list of all inspections done to get an overview of inspections still open due to pieces awaiting repair.
  2. Monitor the exact pieces in repair and their full details.
  3. Analyze the most common defects to address production issues and decrease defects.

Weekly Monitoring:

  1. Check for improvements in defect rates over time.
  2. Ensure no repair pieces are left unrepaired from the previous week to avoid order delays.
