  2. Understanding the various types of control units or stations within the factory and their functions.
  3. Understanding AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and all their settings to establish quality thresholds and inspection plans.
  4. Activating and configuring AQL in the factory.
  5. Configuring quality exceeding thresholds notifications.

Getting Started with the Platform

Before diving into specific tasks, ensure you are familiar with the basic navigation and features of the platform. Log in with your credentials and explore the platform, menu options, and settings.

Main Concepts

To efficiently use our platform, you must understand several key concepts:
  1. Learn the different statuses that batches and orders can have, which indicate their progress through the production process.
  2. Understand the various types of control units or stations within the factory and their functions to effectively manage quality control.
  3. Understand AQL and all their settings to establish quality thresholds and inspection plans.

Set Up Initial Data

  1. Activate AQL in the factory and configure AQL standard settings to ensure quality standards are properly set.
  2. Configure the quality exceeding thresholds notifications to be alerted when quality levels exceed acceptable limits.

Monitoring Tasks

Hourly Monitoring:

  1. Monitor the hourly throughput of the station to know the number of pieces inspected by each line.
  2. Monitor the exact pieces in repair and their full details to ensure timely repairs.
  3. Check the list of all inspections done to get an overview of inspections still open due to pieces awaiting repair.
  4. Check the defects analysis in inline inspections and station inspections to identify the most common defects and ask the line supervisor to address these issues early on.

Daily Monitoring:

  1. For a certain production order, you can get the quality info of this order and all the inspections done on it and the defects found.
  2. Review quality information grouped by order to ensure client quality standards are being met in the aggregated quality report.
  3. Check the station throughput by the end of the day to know the number of pieces output by the end of the day.

Weekly Monitoring:

  1. Ensure no repair pieces are left unrepaired from the previous week to avoid order delays.
  2. Check for improvements in defect rates in inline inspections and station inspections over time.
  3. Check the Home dashboard, specifically the quality section that shows the whole factory's right-first-time rate, defects, and pieces inspected.
  4. Check employees' quality data info to know which employees need further training to improve their production quality levels.
