We’re thrilled to introduce the Multi-Style Cutting Module, a major enhancement to the Cutting Module that brings greater efficiency, flexibility, and control to the cutting process.
This feature allows cutting specialists to:
Add markers for multiple orders and styles
Combine several production orders into a single cutting order
Generate bulk batches across multiple orders with one click
This upgrade significantly improves fabric utilization, reduces manual workload, and reflects real-world cutting operations more accurately.
In many factories, the same style can appear in multiple production orders.
Previously, users had to add a separate marker for each order, which consumed time and increased data entry work.
With this new feature:
Users can now add one marker per style, regardless of how many orders belong to that style.
This dramatically speeds up data input, reduces redundancy, and ensures consistency in cutting setup.
You will now see a new page named “Markers” under the Cutting Module.

To create a new marker:
Click the Add button.
Fill in all marker information (marker code, length, etc.).

If the factory settings define tolerance by percentage, the system will ask you to save tolerance as a percentage value.
If the factory defines tolerance by length, you’ll be prompted to enter tolerance in centimeters.
After entering the main marker info:
Click the “+” button to add styles to the marker.
For each style, select the required sizes and quantities.
After adding all the needed information, click Save.

When creating a new Cutting Order, you can now:
Select multiple production orders in the order selection list.
The system will display markers that include any of the styles from those orders.
Choose the required marker, then add rolls and layers as usual.
When generating batches in bulk, the system automatically determines which order each batch belongs to.
If orders differ by style, color, or size, the system assigns batches automatically to the correct order.
If orders share the same style, color, and size, the system cannot distinguish them automatically — users must assign batches manually.

🧠 Tip: You can select multiple batches together to assign orders in bulk and save time.
You can choose to restart batch numbering per production order, providing more flexibility and traceability when managing multi-order cutting operations.
After saving:
The system allows you to print batches associated with a specific order.
All batches are automatically saved and linked to the correct order in the system.
With the Multi-Style Cutting Module, factories can now:
Combine multiple orders and styles under one cutting order
Generate bulk batches automatically and intelligently
Save significant time in data entry and fabric planning
Improve efficiency and reduce waste in the cutting process
This upgrade makes Garment IO’s Cutting Module smarter, faster, and more aligned with real production workflows.
