To efficiently use our platform, you must understand several key concepts:
  1. Understand the maintenance cycle in the factory to plan and execute maintenance tasks effectively.
  2. Understand maintenance request statuses to prioritize and track the progress of maintenance activities.

Set Up Initial Data

  1. Add machine types to categorize the different types of machinery in your factory.
  2. Add machines and connect them to Garment IO devices to enable monitoring and management.

Operational Tasks

  1. Respond to maintenance tickets promptly to ensure minimal downtime and optimal machine performance.

Monitoring Tasks

Hourly Monitoring

  1. Check the machines' tickets from the requests page in case you did not hear the notifications sent by the system.

Daily Monitoring

  1. Check the defects analysis page to know the most common reasons behind downtime and try to reduce them next month.
  2. Check the maintenance report to see all completed maintenance tickets and what is still open, requiring special focus the next day.

Weekly Monitoring

  1. Check the patterns behind the defects in the defects analysis to identify the machines that most frequently stop and require more proactive maintenance inspections. Prepare the spare parts needed according to the most common defects found.
