How to add machines?
In order to effectively monitor and track production activities, it is essential to add machines to the Garment IO system. This chapter will guide you through the process of adding machines and managing them within the system.
Accessing Machines:
To add machines, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Production Configurations > Machines.
- On the Machines page, click on the "+" button to add a new machine.
Adding a Machine:
When adding a machine, you need to provide specific information. Follow these instructions:
- Enter the machine code, which serves as a unique identifier for the machine.
- Specify the brand of the machine.
- Provide a description of the machine, including any relevant details or specifications.
- Select the section to which the machine belongs. This helps in organizing and categorizing machines based on production sections.
- Enter the purchase date of the machine.
- Specify the Garment device number assigned to the machine. This number is provided by the Garment IO support team and helps in connecting the machine to the system. You will find the number at the back of the device.
- Select the machine type that corresponds to this particular machine. Refer to the previously added machine types to assign the appropriate type.
Editing and Deleting Machines:
The Garment IO system allows users to edit or delete machines as needed.
To perform these actions:
Edit Machine: On the Machines page, locate the machine you wish to edit and click on the corresponding edit button. Update the relevant information and save the changes.
Delete Machine: On the Machines page, locate the machine you want to delete and click on the delete button. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Accessing Deleted Machines:
Deleted machines can be accessed through the trash icon located next to the "+" button on the Machines page. Clicking on the trash icon will display all the deleted machines. From here, you have the option to restore any deleted machine if needed.
By adding and managing machines within the Garment IO system, you can accurately track and monitor your production activities, ensuring efficient resource utilization and streamlined production processes.
