Lines/Sections Performance Cards

Garment IO is proud to introduce a new reporting feature, the "Lines/Sections Performance Cards". This report is designed to provide a comprehensive, real-time performance overview of each line or section in your system, all in one easy-to-access page.
Accessing the page
Click on "Production Department" from the sidebar menu.
Select "Production Reports."
Select "Lines Performance"
Real-Time Data and User-Defined Scope
The report is built with a real-time data engine, ensuring that the information you view is current and relevant. It also allows users to define the scope of the report. Whether you want to focus on a specific line or section, simply select your preferred option from the toggle button.
Access to the "Lines/Sections Performance Cards" report is governed by user permissions. It is important to note that only users with the appropriate permissions can access this feature. This approach ensures that sensitive data can only be accessed by authorized individuals, enhancing the security of your system.
The Performance Card for each line/section holds a wealth of information:
- Active Employees: Displays employees who have worked on any process within the chosen line or section. Clicking on this will navigate you to the efficiency page for these employees for that day and scope.
- Unutilized Employees: Shows employees who are present but have not performed any tasks yet. Clicking on this will navigate you to the idle times page, showing the unutilized employees inside the scope.
Absent Employees: Displays employees who are absent.
- Clicking on this will soon provide a list of these employees' names.
Target: Shows the number of pieces that should be completed by this section today, calculated by the system based on planning details such as start date, end date, and assigned sections to stages.
- Clicking on it will soon provide details of the target for each order inside that line or section (coming soon).
- Produced Pieces: Displays the pieces that have been fully produced and have completed all mandatory processes inside the line or section.
- Labor Efficiency: This metric provides insights into how effectively your active workforce is utilized. It is calculated as the ratio of the time spent producing output to the net time spent by employees. The net time does not include time for maintenance, idle time, or unutilized time since these periods are not directly under the control of the labor force. High labor efficiency indicates that your employees are spending a larger proportion of their time contributing to productive output.
- Operational Efficiency: Operational efficiency takes into account all aspects of the operation, including periods of idle time, maintenance, and unutilized time. This gives a more holistic picture of the overall efficiency of your operations. It reflects the gross efficiency of the operations, showing you how well the entire operation is running, considering all factors. A high operational efficiency score indicates that your operations are well-structured and managed, with minimal downtime.
- Throughput Efficiency: This metric measures the efficiency of completing a piece through all its processes within the scope of the line or section. It is a measure of how effectively a line or section is able to process and complete a piece from beginning to end. If a section is focusing mainly on middle processes and not the final processes, they will have a low throughput efficiency, as they are not completing the final station and hence having low throughput within that scope. High throughput efficiency indicates a smooth and effective process flow, where pieces are completed in their entirety within the scope.
- Styles: Shows the inline styles inside the scope, helping users understand the different styles currently in process within their chosen scope.

In the future, users will be able to print this page to have instant access to real-time data in a clear, easy-to-read format. The "Lines/Sections Performance Cards" report is a powerful tool for understanding and optimizing the performance of your lines or sections. We hope you find it beneficial in your operations management.
