🏭 Workstations Update — Quality Workstation

A new workstation type has been introduced: Quality Workstation, enabling the system to accurately measure the efficiency and productivity of quality inspectors and supervisors — which was not calculated before.

⚙️ Setup

New Standard Role Added

A ready-to-use standard role has been added:
"عامل محطة جودة - Quality workstation operator"

Factories can directly use this role for workers assigned to quality stations without creating a custom role.

This role can be configured to:

Be included in Efficiency

• Be counted as Direct or Indirect cost

• Based on the factory policy from the worker/job settings.

• Add Quality stage inside the Style Category and define its related stages

• When creating the workstation type, select Quality and link it to quality stages
• Workers can be assigned to the Quality workstation through the Garment IO mobile app only

👤 How Quality Inspectors / Supervisors Work

• The inspector performs check-in and check-out using their personal card
• Records the production cards being inspected
• One inspection can be linked to multiple Process.
• If a Production process is deleted, all related inspections are automatically removed.

📊 How Efficiency and Cost Are Calculated

• Simply checking in to the Quality workstation with the “Included in efficiency” option enabled in the worker profile is enough to start efficiency calculation
• Whether quality is considered Direct or Indirect cost depends entirely on the factory policy
• If quality is Indirect, the “Included in efficiency” option must be enabled .and the “Include in Costing” option is not enabled.
• If quality is Direct, this options should be enabled and the Salary rate will be added, just as it is for an employee.

🎯 Operational Value

Previously, the system did not measure:

• Quality inspectors’ productivity

• Quality supervisors’ efficiency

• Actual time spent on inspection activities

Now, quality performance is fully measurable and linked to model stages inside the system.
