Wasted Durations Report

Wasted Durations Report

Info

The Wasted Duration Report provides users with insights into the amount of time and money each employee wasted. More specifically, it allows users to see how much time is lost at the beginning and end of each day.

Here are the key features and functionalities of the Wasted Duration Report:

Date Range and Section Selection:

  • Users can select the desired date range for which they want to generate the report.
  • Users can choose the specific sections they want to include in the report, providing flexibility in analyzing different areas of the factory.

Pivot Mode and Additional Information:

  • Users have the option to represent the data in the table using the pivot mode. By clicking on the columns on the right side of the table, users can customize the view of the data based on their preferences.
  • Additional information, such as section and date, can be included in the table for a more comprehensive analysis.
  • Users can also apply filters to the data using the pivot mode, allowing them to focus on specific criteria or conditions.

Data Representation:

  • The report includes four tiles representing the total sum of wasted durations and costs for the following categories
    • Start of Day (SOD) Wasted Durations
    • Start of Day (SOD) Wasted Costs
    • End of Day (EOD) Wasted Durations
    • End of Day (EOD) Wasted Costs
  • If the user selects a date range spanning multiple days, a graph is displayed to visualize the total durations of SOD wasted durations and EOD wasted durations for each day.

Employee List and Wasted Duration/Cost Calculation:

  • The report provides a table listing all employees who checked in at the factory, whether they were utilized or not.
  • Start of Day Wasted Duration:
    • Users can choose the time format to represent the durations, such as HH:MM:SS, MM:SS, or minutes.
    • If the check-in occurs before the shift start time, the wasted duration is calculated from the shift start time until the first log-in to the machine.
    • If the check-in occurs after the shift start time, the wasted duration is calculated from the check-in timestamp until the first log-in to the machine.
    • Cost is calculated using the equation: Duration in seconds * (employee rate per second)
  • End of Day Wasted Duration:
    • Users can choose the time format to represent the durations, such as HH:MM:SS, MM:SS, or minutes.
    • If the check-out occurs before the shift end time, the wasted duration is calculated from the last beat timestamp until the checkout time.
    • If the check-out occurs after the shift end time, the wasted duration is calculated from the last beat timestamp until the shift end time.
    • Cost is calculated using the equation: Duration in seconds * (employee rate per second)
  • Users can click on an employee's name in the report to navigate to that employee's history/performance report for the selected day. This feature allows users to access more detailed information about a specific employee's activities and performance.
By utilizing the Wasted Duration Report, users can gain insights into the time and cost inefficiencies associated with the start and end of each day. This information can help identify opportunities for optimization, reduce wasted resources, and improve overall productivity in the factory.
