Aggregated Costing Report

The Aggregate Costing Report in the system allows users to evaluate the financial performance of production orders and compare them with each other. The report provides valuable insights into various cost metrics and includes a detailed table of production orders. Here's the information presented in the report:

Confirm Your User Account Setup

Confirm with your system administrator or project manager that:
  1. Your user account has been created.
  2. You have been assigned the appropriate role to access necessary pages within Garment IO.

Steps on how to open the Aggregated costing report

First of all you need to make sure that you have the needed permissions to view the aggregated costing report. To open the page you cand do so by following the next steps:
  1. Go to Garment IO
  2. Then go to the Finance department
  3. Then go to the Aggregated Costed Report.

Overview Tiles and Waterfall Graph:

  • Total Produced Pieces: The total number of pieces that have completed production in all stages.
  • Total Value of Produced Pieces: The quantity produced multiplied by the total estimated cost per piece, including both direct and indirect costs.
  • Cost of Produced Pieces: The total actual cost of the pieces, including both direct and indirect costs.
  • Maintenance Costs: The sum of (Fixed or Replaced Maintenance Downtime x Direct and Indirect Cost per Idle Worker).
  • Idle Time Costs: The sum of (Accepted Idle time Requests x Direct and Indirect Cost per Idle Worker).
  • Unutilized Labor Costs: The number of unutilized days multiplied by the Direct and Indirect Cost per Idle Worker.
  • Total Wasted Costs: Time wasted multiplied by the Direct and Indirect Cost per Idle Worker.
  • Inefficiency Cost: The cost difference between the actual production cost and the estimated production cost.

Detailed Table:

The detailed table provides information about production orders that have been partially or fully completed during the specified period. It includes the following columns:

  • Order Number
  • Style Code
  • Style Name
  • Status
  • Cut Quantity
  • Produced Quantity: The number of pieces that have completed production in all stages.
  • Estimated Cost: The average estimated cost per piece.
  • Actual Cost: The average actual cost per piece.

The user has the ability to update the estimated cost to ensure that any incurred costs, whether direct or indirect, are accurately reflected.

Furthermore, users can apply filters to the report based on the date range and section. When filtered by sections, the displayed orders are those that have finished batches in the selected sections.

By clicking on an order, users can navigate to the PO Costing Report, which provides more detailed information about the specific production order.

The Aggregate Costing Report empowers users to analyze and monitor the financial performance of production orders, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize costs and efficiency in the production process.
