The required data includes:
- Roll code (must be unique).
- Fabric type (select from the fabric types entered in the Fabric Types page. You can add a new fabric type directly from the selection list by clicking on "Add Fabric Type").
- Customer (the roll will only appear in cutting orders for production orders with the same customer as the roll. Select all customers for whom the roll will be used).
- Opening balance (length in meters or weight in kilograms for the roll).
- Measurement unit (unit of measurement for the opening balance, either kilograms or meters).
- Width (in centimeters).
- Weight per square meter (in grams).
- Shrinkage factor.
Type:
- Open: Single-layered roll.
- Closed: Two connected layers (double the quantity of pieces produced from the open roll in cutting orders).
The user can mark the roll as fully consumed by toggling the switch in the "Consumed" column. The roll will be automatically marked as consumed if its length is less than the minimum top length set in the factory settings.
The used and current length/weight of the roll are automatically calculated after each cutting order in which the roll is used.
The list of rolls displays the used length (in meters) and weight (in kilograms) in the last two columns.
For each roll, the following information is shown for each usage in a cutting order (click the arrow at the beginning of the row to view the details if the roll has been used):
- Date of usage.
- Production order in which the roll was used.
- Cutting order in which the roll was used.
- Length and weight used in the cutting order.
- Remaining length and weight of the roll after the cutting order.
The user can modify roll data if it has not been used in a cutting order in the past by double-clicking on the field to be edited.
