This document provides a step-by-step guide for clients to enable fingerprint data collection and integration into our HR module. This integration will allow tracking of employee check-in and check-out timestamps in the factory.
Requirements
Before proceeding, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1. Fingerprint Database Access: The factory needs to share access to its fingerprint database.
2. Database Connection Details: Provide necessary credentials for our system to connect to the database.
3. Table Information: Specify the table containing fingerprint data, employee codes, and timestamps.
Steps to Enable Fingerprint Integration
1. Share Database Connection Details
- Database Host: IP address or hostname of the database server.
- Port: Port number used by the database service.
- Database Name: Name of the database containing fingerprint data.
- Username and Password: Credentials with read access to the database.
2. Specify the Fingerprint Data Table
Please send details about the table structure that includes:
- Table Name: The exact name of the table with fingerprint logs.
- Columns:
- Employee Code: Unique identifier for each employee.
- Timestamp: Date and time of the fingerprint scan.
Once you have collected the above details, send them via email to:
4. Data Retrieval and Integration
- Our tech team will connect to the database to verify access.
- Fingerprint logs will be pulled every 30 minutes and integrated into the HR module.
