How log into Garment IO System

Welcome to the GarmentIO system! This guide will walk you through the steps to log in to your account. Before you start, ensure that your system administrator or project manager has set up your account and assigned the correct role within the factory.

Step 1: Confirm Your User Account Setup

Confirm with your system administrator or project manager that:
  1. Your user account has been created.
  2. You have been assigned the appropriate role to access necessary pages within GarmentIO.

Step 2: Access the Login Page

  1. Open a Web Browser: For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome. However, you can use any web browser of your choice (e.g., Firefox, Safari) on any device such as PCs, tablets, or mobiles.
  2. Navigate to Your Factory’s Login URL: Type your factory-specific URL into the browser's address bar. The format for the URL is https://<factory-slug>.garmentio.com. For example, if your factory's slug is testfactory, you should visit https://testfactory.garmentio.com.

Step 3: Enter Your Login Credentials

  1. Input Your Email and Password: On the login page, enter the email address and password provided by your system administrator or project manager.
  2. Sign In: After entering your credentials, click the ‘Sign In’ button. If your credentials are correct, you will be logged into the system.

For security purposes, it is advisable to change your password after your first login:
  1. Access Your Profile: Click on your name, usually located at the top right corner of the page.
  2. Change Password: Go to your name in the left corner -> Select the ‘Change Password’ option and follow the prompts to set a new password.

Step 5: Save Your Credentials in Chrome (Optional)

To simplify future logins, you might want to save your email and password in Chrome:
  1. Chrome Password Manager: After logging in, Chrome may prompt you to save your password. You can choose to save it to automatically populate your login details in future sessions.
  2. Manage Passwords: You can manage saved passwords by going to Chrome settings > Passwords, where you can view, delete, or update saved credentials.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the login process, such as forgetting your password or receiving an error message, please contact your system administrator or project manager for assistance.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully log in to your GarmentIO account. Remember, security is paramount; ensure your credentials are kept secure and update your password regularly. Enjoy using GarmentIO!
