In Garment IO, you have the option to create and configure screens to display important information on TV screens within the factory floor. These screens serve as a valuable tool for sharing relevant data and metrics with the workforce, including a live leaderboard recognizing top-performing employees within each section.

Creating a New Screen

• Click the "+" button located in the top-right corner of the Screens page. This action allows you to create a new screen for your factory floor.
• Enter the screen number and screen name to identify and distinguish it from other screens within the system. Additionally, set the transition time in seconds, which determines how long each slide will be displayed on the screen.
• Choose the desired language for the display screen. This ensures that information is presented in the preferred language of the target audience.
• To ensure authorized access, set a screen password. This password will be required when accessing the screen through the TV browser.
• Select the sections you want to filter the data by on the screen. Depending on the screen's location, you may want to display data for the entire factory, a specific line, or a specific department.
• Choose the specific content you want to display on the screen. The system offers several options, as:

Hourly Productivity: Displays the quantity produced each hour, allowing you to track productivity. You can choose to display this data for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

• See it for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

Efficiency Dashboard: Provides efficiency metrics for various departments.

• You can choose to display this data for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

Top 10 Employees: Displays the top-performing employees based on specific criteria.

• You can display this information for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

Maintenance Requests: Provides an overview of maintenance requests and their status.

• You can display this data for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

Employee Recognition: Displays a live, updating leaderboard of the top-performing employees within a section, ranked by efficiency.

• You can display this data for the entire factory, per line, or per department.

• After setting all the configurations, save the screen settings. The system will generate a unique link for the screen, which should be used in the TV browser.

Viewing the Screen

When accessing the screen through the TV browser, you'll be prompted to enter the password you set during the screen configuration process. This ensures that only authorized employees can view the slides on the screen.

By creating display screens and configuring their settings, you can effectively communicate important information and key metrics to employees within the factory floor. This facilitates transparency, boosts productivity, and keeps the workforce informed about factory, line, department, and employee performance, as well as maintenance requests and work in progress.

The Employee Recognition Display

This slide shows a live recognition board for the top-performing employees within a section on the factory floor screens, motivating the team and giving top performers instant recognition in front of their colleagues.

When you add this content type to a screen, two additional options appear:

• Rank Metric: choose whether employees are ranked by Labor efficiency or Operational efficiency.
• Colour Basis: choose whether each employee's percentage is coloured based on the factory's efficiency thresholds, or on how close they are to their daily piece target.

Once this slide is set up, the screen displays:

• Header: the section name, a live clock, today's produced pieces, the number of active employees, and the section's labor and operational efficiency.
• Podium: the top 3 employees, with photo (or initials if no photo is available), name, employee code, and live percentage.
• Board: employees ranked from 4th to 10th place.
• Movement Arrows: show whether an employee's rank has moved up or down since the last update.
• Achievement Reveal: a temporary full-screen highlight that appears when an employee enters the top 3, reaches 100% efficiency, or hits their daily piece target (depending on the selected colour basis).
• Live Ticker: a scrolling bar at the bottom of the screen highlighting the latest ranking changes and key live numbers for the section.

This data updates automatically as new production activity is recorded, with no need to manually refresh the screen.

Note: the screen displays up to 10 employees per section (3 on the podium and up to 7 on the board).
