How to add displays?

In the Garment IO system, you have the option to create and configure displays to present important information on TV screens within the factory halls. These displays serve as a valuable tool for sharing relevant data and metrics with the workforce. Let's explore how to add displays step by step:

Accessing Display Configuration:

To begin adding displays, navigate to the Configurations section and select "Device Configurations," followed by "Displays."

Creating a New Display:

Click on the "+" button located at the top right corner of the Displays page. This action allows you to create a new display for your factory hall.

Display Details:

Enter the display number and display name to identify and differentiate it from other displays within the system. Additionally, specify the transition time in seconds, which determines how long each slide will be displayed on the screen.

Language Selection:

Choose the desired language for the display screen. This ensures that the information is presented in the preferred language for the intended audience.

Display Password:

To ensure authorized access, set a display password. This password will be required when accessing the display through the TV display browser.

Filtering Data Sections:

Specify the sections for which you want to filter data on the display. Depending on the location of the display, you may want to show the entire factory's data or specific line data.

Selecting Display Content:

Choose the specific content you want to view on the display. The Garment IO system provides several options, including:

  • Productivity per Hour: Displays the quantity produced in each hour, allowing you to track productivity. You can select whether to view this data for the entire factory, per line, or per section.
  • Efficiency Dashboard: Presents the efficiency metrics for different sections. You can choose to display this data for the entire factory, per line, or per section.
  • Top 10 Employees: Showcases the top-performing employees based on specific criteria. You can view this information for the entire factory, per line, or per section.
  • Maintenance Requests: Provides an overview of maintenance requests and their status. You can view this data for the entire factory, per line, or per section.
  • Work in Progress: Displays the quantities in progress for each process. This data can be viewed per section or per style.

Saving Display Configuration:

After setting all the configurations, save the display settings. The system will generate a link specific to the display, which should be used in the TV display browser.

Display Authentication:

When accessing the display through the TV display browser, you will be prompted to enter the password you set during the display configuration process. This ensures that only authorized personnel can view the slides on the display.

By creating displays and configuring their settings, you can effectively communicate important information and key metrics to employees within the factory halls. This facilitates transparency, enhances productivity, and keeps the workforce informed about the performance of the factory, lines, sections, employees, maintenance requests, and work in progress.
