Defects Groups and Defects Management

Defects Groups and Defects Management

This page contains categorizations of different types of defects that may arise from production processes and appear in quality station sorting (e.g., fabric defects, machine defects, operation defects, etc.).
Steps to add a Defect Group:
  1. Access the "Defect Groups" page through the Settings section in Production Settings.
  2. Add a new defect group by clicking on the "+" button at the top of the page.
  3. Enter the name of the defect group.
  4. Click "Confirm" to add the group to the system.

Defects: These are specific defects that result from production processes and appear in quality station sorting. Each defect belongs to a specific defect group that has been previously added to the system (e.g., fabric defect, contaminated thread, elastic snap -> all belong to the fabric defect group).

Steps to add Defects:

  1. Access the "Defects" page through the Settings section in Production Settings.
  2. Add defects by clicking on the "+" button at the top of the page.
  3. Enter a unique defect code.
  4. Enter the name of the defect.
  5. Select the responsible parties for the defect.
  6. Choose the locations where the defect should be displayed (quality station, inline quality, final inspection, or not displayed at all).
  7. Select the defect group to which this defect belongs.

By adding defect groups and defects, you can establish a comprehensive classification system for quality issues that may occur during production. This allows for efficient identification, tracking, and resolution of specific defects, contributing to overall quality improvement efforts.
