Activate AQL

The AQL report focuses on the internal quality inspection process, which involves randomly sampling a batch to determine whether it meets the required quality specifications. This process helps define the acceptable quality limits for the batch. The two most important parameters are:
  1. Sample Size: The number of randomly selected units to be inspected from a specific batch.
  2. Maximum Acceptable Defects: The highest allowable number of defects based on their severity.

General Inspection Levels:

The sample size is calculated based on the selected general inspection level. As the inspection level increases, the sample size also increases. The factory chooses the desired inspection level.

  1. Selecting Level I leads to a smaller sample size and faster inspection, but it may result in less accurate inspection compared to Level III.
  2. Level II is the standard inspection level chosen by most consumer goods manufacturers.

Special Inspection Levels:

Special inspection levels are primarily used for factories conducting destructive or time-consuming tests or dealing with defects of utmost importance, as they result in much smaller sample sizes.

Accepted Quality Levels (AQL) represent the maximum acceptable defect rates for different defect levels:

  • Critical Defect: The acceptable AQL for critical defects is 0%.
  • Major Defect: The acceptable AQL for major defects is 4%.
  • Minor Defect: The acceptable AQL for minor defects is 2.5%.

The user determines the acceptable quality level percentage.

Activation:

Activate the Internal Quality Inspection feature for users from the factory's edit page. Step 2: Set the factory's standard quality level.

  1. Select the Standard Inspection Level: Choose the inspection level used in your factory according to ISO 2589.
  2. Select the Major Defects Level: Determine the number of pieces that cannot be exceeded for the batch to be accepted.
  3. Select the Minor Defects Level: Determine the number of pieces that cannot be exceeded for the batch to be accepted.

Verify the accuracy of final inspection data when adding a production order.

Modifications to the final internal inspection level are allowed if the required quality level for a specific production order differs from the factory's standard quality level.
