This guide walks you through the process of production orders management on the system. By following these steps, you'll learn how to create a unique order containing the necessary details, including the order number, customer, model, and notes, as well as specifying the quantity for each required size.

Accessing the Production Orders Section

  • Go to the Production section, then Production Orders, and click it.
  • On the Production Orders page, locate the "+" button, usually placed either above or below the list of existing production orders.

Filtering and Page Settings

To make it easy to quickly find the order you need, the page includes clear search, filter, and customization tools:

  • Search box: you can type any part of the order's data, such as the production order number, contract code, or customer name, to bring up the matching order directly.
  • Filter by date range: a specific date can be selected through a simple calendar to display the orders linked to it.
  • Filter by production lines and sectors.
  • Filter by status: orders can be filtered by one or more statuses at the same time, such as "New," "Production Started," or "Finished," to display only the matching orders.
  • Filter by planning: lets you filter production orders that have been planned to departments, as well as orders that haven't been planned yet.
  • Cards-per-page button: gives full control over the number of cards shown on the page, choosing between 12, 24, 48, or 96 cards per page.
  • Cards and list view button: lets you choose how the page is displayed, either as cards or as a list.
  • Settings button: gives full control over the data shown in the card or list, letting you show or hide any column in the table or piece of information in the card as needed.

AI Insights

The AI offers several insights determined based on the last 7 days:

  1. Delayed Production Orders: Production orders that have passed their expected delivery date.
Overdue Production Orders
  1. Orders With No Start or Delivery Date: You can also set the start date and delivery date directly from this page, without needing to go to the production order planning page.
Production Order Missing Start or Delivery Date
  1. Orders With Old Bundles: Production orders containing old bundles with no recent production activity.
Production Orders With Rotten Batches
Opening the order displays all the affected production departments containing old bundles, and you can select one or more departments to finish the old bundles in.

Entering a section's details lets you view and filter the rotten batches using several options, such as last process done, cutting order, size, and color, making it easier to find the bundles you need.

  1. Stopped Production Orders: You can manage stopped production orders from the options menu, where you can either return the order to the production plan or add a stop reason to document why the production order was halted for future reference.

  1. Production Orders Outside the Production Plan: You can manage production orders that have not yet been added to the production plan from the options menu. From there, you can navigate directly to the Production Order Planning page and create a production plan for the selected order.

Before You Start

Make sure the following data has already been added before creating the production order:

  • Styles: you can read this article to learn how to add styles.
  • Colors: you can read this article to learn how to add colors.
  • Customers: you can read this article to learn how to add customers.
  • Sizes: you can read this article to learn how to add sizes.

Entering Order Details

A new window or form will appear, where you'll need to enter the details of the new production order:

  • Production order number: enter a unique identifier for the order. This will be the order's primary reference, so make sure it's distinct and hasn't been used before.
  • Client: click the dropdown menu to select a client. The list contains all clients previously entered into the system. Browse through the list or search for the client's name, then click to select them.
  • Style: select the style from another dropdown menu. This style must match the product specifications or design requested by the client.
  • Notes: in the space provided, you can add any additional information you'd like to include, such as special instructions, notes about the customer's needs, or any other relevant details.
  • Contract number: an optional field for recording the contract number linked to the production order, if one exists.

Specifying Quantities

After entering the general details of the production order, you'll need to specify the quantity for each required size and color, filling in the quantities according to the order's requirements.

Saving the New Production Order

  • Review all the information you've entered to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • If everything is correct, click the "Save" button to submit the new production order to the system.
  • Upon saving, you'll receive a notification confirming the order was added successfully.
  • To review or edit the order, go back to the Production Orders page, where you'll find the new order listed alongside the others.

Add a Production Order Stop Reason

You can add a stop reason to a production order to help analyze why production orders are stopped in the factory. To do this, open the stopped production order, edit it, then select Add Stop Reason and choose the appropriate reason.

What Do Production Order Cards Display?

When all options are set to display, a production order card shows the following data:

  • The model image for the production order.
  • The production order number and contract code.
  • The production order status.
  • The model number and customer.
  • The required quantity, cut quantity, and produced quantity.
  • The start date and expected delivery date.
  • The completion percentage of the production order, calculated as the fully produced quantity divided by the required quantity, to track the order's progress.
