AI-Based Process Target Estimation

We’re excited to announce a new feature that leverages AI to automatically estimate process-level targets after setting the section’s daily production target. This powerful addition brings greater accuracy and efficiency to your production planning.

What Does It Do?

Once the section target is approved, the system can now use AI to break it down into specific targets for each process by analyzing:

  • Work-in-Progress (WIP) at each process

  • Pieces already finished today

  • Process dependencies and parallel paths

  • Buffer time to ensure readiness for the next day

  • Remaining pieces needed to complete the full order

How to Use It

  1. Go to the AI page after approving the section target.

    1. You must approve the daily targets for sections level before proceeding. 

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Before estimating, the system will prompt you to set the Buffer Time (in minutes).

    • Buffer Time represents extra effort allocated to a process today to prepare pieces in advance for downstream processes tomorrow.

  3. Click on “Estimate Process Target”.


⏳ The system will process the data, and within a few minutes, you’ll find the estimated targets reflected on the Supervision Processes page, displayed in a table format that shows how many pieces have been produced out of the daily target per process.
