We’re excited to announce a powerful new update: you can now take direct actions on machines using QR codes! Whether it's performing an inline inspection, changing a process, or adjusting machine settings—everything is now just a scan away.
How It Works
Step 1: Print QR Codes for Machines
Go to the Machines Page, select one or more machines, and click Print QR Codes.
You can filter machines by production section to print only for a specific area on the shop floor.
Once printed, attach each QR code to its corresponding machine for easy access.
Step 2: Scan QR and Take Action
Use your mobile phone or tablet to scan the QR code.
Click on the keyboard icon at the top of the app and choose “Scan QR”, then allow camera access.
Once scanned, the system will take you directly to the relevant action page, depending on your permissions:
If you're an inline inspector, scanning will lead you straight to the inline inspection screen for that machine.
If you're authorized to change processes or update machine settings, you'll be directed to those specific pages.
Access is secure and role-based—users are only allowed to see and perform the actions they are authorized for.
Why This Matters
✔ Faster operations – Skip the navigation and go directly to what you need.
✔ Less friction on the shop floor – Make changes or inspections in seconds.
✔ Secure and role-specific – Only see what you’re allowed to act on.
