Merging Orders - Production Order Packing - Set

Problem Statement

When orders are merged, the system currently does not allow packing them as a set.
This makes it difficult for users to validate:

  • Quantities
  • Size distribution
  • Number of cartons

Solution

The system will allow users to create packing for merged orders as a set, using the existing packing screen.
If the assortment is Defined, the system will display the Color / Size matrix.

User Flow

  1. User goes to Production Orders
  2. Right-clicks on the merged order
  3. Selects Production Order Packing
  4. Packing page opens

Page Title

The page will show the merged order name:

Packing Order FSF 02/4052-9855-9854-9356

Add Assortment

User clicks:

Add Assortment

And fills:

  • Prefix
  • Starts From
  • Net weight per piece (gm)
  • Packing weight per box (gm)

Assortment Type

User selects:

1. Undefined

  • Enter number of boxes only
  • System calculates automatically
  • No matrix displayed

2. Defined

  • System displays Color / Size matrix (Set)
  • User:
    • Reviews the matrix
    • Enters number of boxes

System calculates:

  • Total pieces
  • Pieces per size
  • Pieces per color

Packing Calculation

The system calculates:

  • Pieces per box
  • Total pieces
  • Pieces per size
  • Pieces per color

Workstation Display

After saving, the workstation will show:

  • Merged order name
  • All styles inside the merged order

Important Notes

  • No changes to UI layout
  • Uses existing packing screen
  • Only enhancement is supporting Set packing

Summary

Before:

  • Merged orders could not be packed as a set

Now:

  • Packing can be done correctly and accurately
  • Ensures:
    • Correct quantities
    • Correct distribution
    • Accurate cartons ✅
