Frequently Asked Questions
- What's the difference between downtime and maintenance time?
Downtime is idle time caused by reasons unrelated to a machine breakdown, such as feeding issues or waiting for work. Maintenance time is waiting caused by an actual machine breakdown. - Is setting a default reason mandatory?
No, it's optional. But setting one ensures a reason is always logged even when the supervisor forgets to select one. - Can downtime reasons be edited after they're created?
Yes, any reason can be edited or new ones added from the same page. - Does downtime affect the worker's available time?
Yes, but only if the supervisor approves the stop request. Rejected requests are not deducted from available time.
